Impacts of Life Style
Debts restrict our ability to spend and this inevitably means that changes to our lifestyle, not being able to go out with friends or family, unable to buy new clothes, go on holidays, pay utility bills, have repairs carried out to your home or car, or even enjoy a meal out or a film show.
Not being able to go to the pub or restaurant exacerbated feelings on stress and anxiety. In many cases those in debt would rather dissociate from their social circles then burden friends with their debt problems. This gives rise to both physical isolation and inability to seek informal emotional support, or just having a "break" from the stresses of debt for some time to enjoy and relax.
Additionally being alone at home can give rise to feelings of fear in case the bailiffs turn up and in some cases individuals will even reduce the amount of food they eat in order to save money. Isolation, fear and anxiety can all very easy lead individuals toads depression.
